The Energy [R]evolution is Greenpeace’s plan to save the planet from catastrophic climate change.
The 200-page document was developed with specialists from the Institute of Technical Thermodynamics at the German Aerospace Centre (DLR) and more than 30 scientists and engineers from universities, institutes and the renewable energy industry around the world.
Following its appointment by Greenpeace International, we created a global campaign aimed at starting an ‘Energy [R]evolution’. The campaign launched on Monday 27 October at the official press briefing in Berlin.
The film uses historic footage of John F Kennedy and advanced 3D modelling techniques to deliver a new message of hope. It challenges world leaders to tackle climate change by embracing renewable energy and setting efficiency standards.
The campaign incorporates several supporting ‘proof’ films. The ‘proof’ films bring to life the science behind Greenpeace’s Energy [R]evolution report.
